Financial Reporting Associate | Prudential Financial | Woodbridge, NJ

Our Retirement Finance unit, located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, which is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis supporting the Retirement business, has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an accounting finance professional.

The accounting associate will be responsible for the financial reporting and analysis for the Institutional Investments Products (IIP) business. The candidate will be actively involved with the GAAP and Statutory financial reporting for the Payout Annuity business. This business primarily includes non-par annuities, structured settlements, guaranteed cost, and other payout annuity products. The candidate will interact with all line areas, actuarial, pricing, and other various operational areas impacting financial results for the payout annuity business.

Responsibilities include, but at not limited to:
  • Preparation of monthly journal entries
  • Account reconciliations and analyis
  • Monthly financial statement analysis
  • Management and preparation of the monthly reporting calendar

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic, finance professional with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. The ability to work independently as well as with other business units and finance associates is required. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required with 2+ years experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is preferred.
