We currently have a challenging position available in our Finance unit within Prudential Investment Management (PIM), which is responsible for the control and analyses of the operating results for PIM's Shared Operations & Systems function. The Expense Reporting & Analysis group has responsibility for reporting operating results on a direct and allocated basis for PIM's Shared O&S units as well as all of the Functions supporting the Assets Management businesses. The group has a position for an Accounting Associate, based in Newark. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for the reporting and analysis of operating results for the Operations & Systems divisions in PIM.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly expense vouchers (e.g. adjustments and accruals).
  • Review and analyze monthly operating expenses and headcount for the PIM Operations & Systems divisions.
  • Assist in the development of the quarterly reforecasts for the Operations & Systems divisions.
  • Participate in the Annual Planning Process (e.g. development, analyses, reporting) using the Enterprise Budget tool Clarity.
  • Assist in the preparation of analysis required by PIM and Corporate Reporting Areas (e.g. Estimated Earnings and Standard Income Statement).
  • Liaison with the O&S Managers concerning any inquiries regarding their monthly expense results.

Your qualifications must include:
  • Undergraduate degree in a business major.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Excel knowledge is a plus.

Other Comments
